Quarry The Green qwe7754jhp Summer Hill Fare granite quarry flooded pine trees Forest Aberdeenshire Scotland taken at the entrance to this huge hill area standing north of Banchory and extending from Echt in the east to Torphins in the west and part of Dunecht Estates on Royal Deeside to the west of Aberdeen in Aberdeenshire. Now disused and flooded this granite quarry produced pink stone which was used for many of the 20th century houes in Banchory and local area and is entered off the Raemoir Road via The Green farm.
