Karnak Two Obelisks EG074943jhp Egypt Hatshepsut Thutmosis Thutmose Granite Obelisks Karnak Temple hieroglyhs cartouche is in the central area of this huge sprawling site located near Luxor City centre on the East Bank of the River Nile and Karnak is the largest religious complex on the Nile. This view of Queen Hatshepsut's Obelisk on the right, one of two remaining standing obelisks, looking over the heavily carved wall near the barque snactuary of Thutmosis 111 whose cartouche is in the bottom foreground. The other distant obelisk on the left is the remianing one of two attributed to Thutmosis 1.
