Caption: | Dendara Egypt Temple coloured reliefs sanatorium painted carvings hieroglyphics entranceand the monument is dedicated to the Goddess Hathor, north of Luxor survives as one of the finest examples of the Late Period and the main buildings visited today date from fourth century BC in to the Roman period. It has a notable rare representation of the famous Cleopatra, some beautiful carvings and is relatively unscathed by the ravages of time, desecration and being dismantled for building materials. This photo is of colored reliefs on one of the walls in sanatorium to the right of the main temple entrance. |
