 Karnak Temple Egypt Fallen Obelisk Top Hieroglyphs Horus Granite Photo is located near Luxor City centre on the East Bank of the River Nile and it the largest religious complex on the Nile. The top of a fallen obelisk, with its distinct peak or the pyramidion, and beyond the remaining papyrus column of Taharqa dominating the rear of one of the huge statues of Ramses 11 in the first courtyard. This is located on the path to the Open Air Musuem.
