Aswan River Nile EG052701jhp
Egyptian Aswan river Nile riverside berth modern hotel Isis Island seen as part of a trip to visit to the cataract islands such as Seheil and on the return a chance to see the upper reaches of the Nile and its cataracts between Aswan City proper and the British Dam. What is also important is the close awareness of the inhospitable nature of the cataracts, now benign because of the impact of the two dams across the river, but imagining these huge rocks in a Nile inundation and one could understand the barrier that it created for those travellers trying to head further south by boat.
