| Caption: | Butterfly peacock inachis io mauve buddleia feeding Aberdeenshire Scotland autumnphoto taken with a macro lenses as they feed and fly between different buddleia bushes. Numbers are certainly down on previous years but a spell of sunny weather seems to have got them active in the latter stages of this North east autumn before the winter frosts do their damage. |
