| Caption: | Kincardine O誰eil village track farm Craigton road Aberdeenshire Scottish Deesideheralded as the oldest village on Deeside with a history dating back before Christian times, situated on the River Dee at a ferry crossing point and connected to the early development of Christianity credited with a church set up by St Erchard around 933AD. Probably the most traditional of the Deeside villages with little modern development to change its original character situated between the major towns of Banchory and Aboyne on the north Deeside Road. The War Memorial renovation was completed in 2013, and the flower displays lovingly tended by local volunteers. |
