 Fyvie Castle Exterior Vista Scottish Fortress Aberdeenshire Towers Rooms Library of this once royal stronghold in medieval Scotland, its dates from around 1390 and is one of the finest examples of the Scottish Baronial style and from right is the Preston Tower, then the distinctive Seton Tower in the centre with the Meldrum Tower on the left with the Gallery beyond. A tradition throughout its ruling families means there are five towers for each family and sumptuous interiors from the 13th century to the Edwardian era are all on show. Landscaped parkland and a redeveloped 18th century walled garden are also on offer. 
It is a National Trust for Scotland property is situated 25 miles NW of Aberdeen on the Oldmeldrum to Turriff road [A947] and is open to the public from April to end of September and the grounds are normally open all year round.
