 Aswan River Nile Egyptian motorboats visitors passengers camerman roof perched trip for on the river to the Nubian Village in this case and it is rather exhilerating race through the rock strewn cataracts by motorboat but can also be a more sedate felucca sail from the hotels or cruiseboat to Elephantine Island and Museum, Kitchener Botanical Gardens, the Nubian Village, Cataracts or the western bank with Aga Khan Mausoleum or camel rides into the desert to visit St Simeon monastery. Along the Aswan promenade are restaurants, berths of cruiseboats, ferry landing areas and to the south the Municipal Gardens, the Coptic Cathedral and the old and new Cataract Hotels, the former of course made famous in the film Death on the Nile.
