Bridge of Alvah SO205619JHP 
 The Bridge of Alvah spanning the River Deveron with a single arch some 60 feet above the water was built in 1772 part of a private transport initiative by the landowners of the nearby Duff House in Banff. It is no longer used as a bridge but is a very attractive visitor feature and a peaceful two mile walk from Duff House in Banff, an beautiful Georgian baroque mansion open for viewing its restored interior and along with its children’s play area, golf course and extensive woodland walks.
