 Tomnaverie Stone Circle Recumbent spring snow Lochnagar Morven Scottish monoliths located on a small hill near Tarland on Royal Deeside with a distant snow covered Lochnagar mountain viewed past the monoliths and to the right of the altar stone and flankers, recently excavated, dated to around 1800BC is the Hill of Morven. A modern carpark with disabled access has been provided by Historic Scotland and coach lay-by as well and is easily reached after a short climb up a prepared path.
