Montrose Bay zxc5227jhp St Cyrus Cliffs Path Bay Montrose Autumn North Sea Mearns Aberdeenshire Scotland is on the southern most boundary of Aberdeenshire just north of Montrose and at the estuary of the North Esk river. A SSSI it is a wonderful area for wildlife, has a long sandy beach stretching northwards from the river underneath huge cliffs and easy access ends at an area of huge rocks which delight children at low tide with rock pools full of fascinating marine life. This photo is of the cliff path from the village of St Cyrus with some late summer colour and is one of two routes down to the beach.
