 Karnak Temple Khonsu Gate Avenue Sphinxes Frith Old Photograph Albumen Print located near Luxor City centre on the East Bank of the River Nile and it is the largest religious complex on the Nile. Front of the pylon of the Temple of Khonsu, set to the south-west of the Karnak complex and the southern gate with an avenue of sphinxes. The photo was taken by Francis Frith, English Victorian photographer and dated around 1887.
