Photographs taken in the mid 90's mainly for the AA Publishing & Ordnance Survey Highland and Islands Guide book using transparency film covering the Highlands of Scotland from Inverness, northwards through Easter Ross to Wick and Thurso, along the Northern Coast, down the West Coast, including the Islands of Skye and Mull. Other material included was gathered for other AA Publishing Guides including Shetland, Pitlochry and Tayside. New photographs are now included from 2012 book commission travels in Angus, Perth, Kinross, Trossachs and Tayside.

 Loch Katrine Stronachlachar evening pier boats anchored Factor’s Island mountain shoreline views taken on a summer evening looking south eastwards across this large expanse of freshwater situated amongst beautiful mountain and rugged Scottish country. With historical links to some of the more romantic Scottish history from the birthplace of Roy Rob MacGregor to the Lady of the Lake story by Sir Walter Scott this is a very popular day trip from tourists from far a field as well as Glaswegians getting out of the City for a day and enjoyed especially from the Sir Walter Scott boat trip from the distant shoreline joined at Trossachs’ Pier.
