 Corse O'Neil Castle Scotland Aberdeenshire east Interior wall steps spring ruin is located off B9119 Tarland road-take O誰eil Corse turnoff for a few hundred yards and is best viewed from road as very overgrown with stinging nettles and is not in good structural condition for exploring. Photograph shows east interior windows and floor levels but the basic structure is a shell with SE tower on right. Still in Forbes family, probably built around late 1580痴 by Patrick Forbes, Bishop of Aberdeen from 1564-1663. Fairly traditional Z-Plan tower-house of the area and in a state unlikely to be restored
