 Easter Auqhorthies Flanker Altar Recumbent Stone Circle Aberdeenshire Scotland Photo on the shoulder of a hill in clear site of Bennachie Hill, west of Inverurie in Aberdeenshire. Well signed from the town, with an Historic Scotland carpark and easy access up metalled path. This circular design places the site in the earliest phase of this form of ceremonial and burial monument around 3-2000BC.
