Tomnaverie Stone Circle WTN0324JHP 
 Tomnaverie Outer Monolith Bronze Age Recumbent Stone Circle Deeside Aberdeenshire in North east Scotland is at Tomnaverie, a small hill near Tarland on Royal Deeside with a distant Lochnagar mountain viewed through the flankers and over the altar stone, recently excavated, dated to around 1800BC and partially restored by Reading University. A modern carpark with disabled access has been provided by Historic Scotland and coach lay-by as well and is easily reached after a short climb up a prepared path.
