EG9612810jhp Aerial Alpine Evening Alphine mountains sun rays peaks aircraft flying high hazy clouds holiday flight for a Kuoni Egyptian package including Nile and Lake Nasser cruise returning to the UK in an Egyptair Airbus on the trip home from Luxor to Heathrow via Cairo. After crossing the Alps it was then usually about sunset time before the long haul down the Italian Adriatic coast across the Mediterranean to Egypt. This National Trust for Scotland property is situated about 1 mile from Kennethmont, off B9002 Insch/Huntly and is open to the public on a restricted by appointment basis but the grounds are normally open all year round. Photographs taken in the mid 90's mainly for the AA Publishing & Ordnance Survey Highland and Islands Guide book using transparency film covering the Highlands of Scotland from Inverness, northwards through Easter Ross to Wick and Thurso, along the Northern Coast, down the West Coast, including the Islands of Skye and Mull. Other material included was gathered for other AA Publishing Guides including Shetland, Pitlochry and Tayside. New photographs are now included from 2012 book commission travels in Angus, Perth, Kinross, Trossachs and Tayside.
