Ramasseum Ramasses Hypostyle Hall columns graffiti Felice carving Egypt Luxor Thebes, situated at this West Bank location of the Nile at Luxor is Ramses 11 mortuary temple glowing in the late afternoon sunlight and in these photos the remains of the Hypostyle Hall on the south east side feature with the rear of the second pylon and the toppled statue of Ramasses 11 visible in the background when looking southwards to the First Pylon. Looking up into the ceiling of the Hypostyle Hall, its lintels and the papyriform painted open bell shaped capitals still showing original colour.

This view looking west and upstream has the Deeside Gliding Club located on the flat plain in the distant right of this view.

Old Brig O’Dee Invercauld River Dee summer riverbank stones Aberdeenshire Scotland is cared for by Historic Scotland and is one of the many military bridges built after the Forty Five Rebellion and that carried troops across the Highlands. This was built by Major Caulfield 1752 although often called a General Wade bridge, the person who started the process many years earlier. The bridge is located just east of Braemar and this view is from eastern side of the bridge, looking upstream on a sunny summer morning.
