Clatterin Brig Cairn bnm4235jhp
Clatterin Brig Black Burn Arnbarrow Mearns Aberdeenshire Scotland summer stream cafe on the B974 Cairn O’Mount road is the Clatterin Brig restaurant. Opposite the restaurant is the road to Auchenblae passing St Palladius Church and Drumtochty Castle in Glen Drumtochty which has interesting Forest Enterprise walks through mixed mature woodland and after leaving the forest the road enters Strath Finella passing this delightful loch near Glensaugh, used for fishing and often visited by ducks and swans. In the foreground is the Black Burn of Arnbarrow and to the right is a very steep small section of road at the start of the climb up to the Cairn O’Mount which has memories for me as a child having to exit my father’s old Rover car along with my mother and relatives as it could not make it up that first little climb.
