 Mitchell's Hospital Old Aberdeen Scotland University Chanonry Almshouse Cottages was built by David Mitchell in 1801 to accommodate five widows and five unmarried daughters of burgesses and located at No9 Chanonry between St Machar’s Drive and the Cathedral Kirk is part of the University area to the north of the modern Aberdeen City near the area known as Old Aberdeen. The hospital was later converted into four self-contained cottages.
