A collection of copies of photographs of Egyptian sites taken in the 1870's by Victorian photographers Beato, Frith and Sebah and modern versions have been made as well.
Frith Seti 1 Temple 8400VQJHP Temple Seti Sethos Sety Frith Photograph Albumen Print Ancient Egyptian site on the West Bank of the River Nile at Luxor in an area called al-Tarif turning off eastwards instead of taking the Valley of the Kings road. Attributed to Seti it had involvement by Ramasses 1 and 11 and with recent restoration is a delightful extra addition should you have free time while in Luxor. Described in the early days as Goorneh Temple and here photographed by English Victorian photographer Francis frith in 1857. Banff is a town with a history dating back to the 12th century and was granted a charter by Robert the Bruce in the 14th Century. Once a thriving herring fishing port it is now a quiet town catering more to tourism with an excellent golf course at Duff House and has several sandy beaches. It is reckoned to be one of the driest and sunniest locations is Scotland.
