 Aberdeen City Marischal College Robert Bruce Statue horse bronze summer granite silver spires is one of the most recognisable buildings in the City of Aberdeen if not Scotland with its elaborate spires carved out of the silver grey granite common throughout most of Aberdeen Victorian architecture. A recent addition is the magnificent bronze statue of Robert the Bruce on his charger and also this building has a new lease of life becoming the working quarters of the City Council rather than solely being part of the University.

The hazy light is due to a sea mist or haar creeping inland a problem which often blights lovely summer days along the North East coast.
