Royalty Free photos of exhibits from the Cairo Egyptian Museum taken before current bans with slide film in available light not to studio quality

Egypt Cairo Museum Exhibit Egyptian Lancers Tomb Assyut Prince Mesehti inside photograph and now in the prime antiquities collection in Cairo taken during visits between 1994 and 2001 when photography was allowed albeit without flash and tripod. None is of studio quality, being handheld with existing, usually extremely poor light and using slide film, pushed Fuji 400asa to get a suitable aperture and shutter speed; the shileds should be a background white. Most of the photos are from the Tutankahum exhibits while the rest are items that interested me as I explored this wonderful and extensive collection, requiring many more hours if not days and is only hinted at during the usual one or two hour visit made on a package tour.

Its final historical importance was during the anti-whisky smuggling duties around the late 1820. Now restored and with interesting exhibits from those last days of occupation. This view is from the layby above Cockbridge before the start of the main climb over the Lecht. The summit of Lochnagar is just visible through the cleft in the hills directly above the Castle.

Old Brig River Dee Invercauld Deeside Scotland summer heather stormy clouds is cared for by Historic Scotland and is one of the many military bridges built after the Forty Five Rebellion and that carried troops across the Highlands. This was built by Major Caulfield 1752 although often called a General Wade bridge, the person who started the process many years earlier. The bridge is located just east of Braemar and this view is from eastern side of the bridge, looking upstream with the summer heather purple and although catching the sunlight the background is dark and stormy. NB This was taken with a non-digital lens and may need extra sharpening.
