Aberdeen Kings College 197219jhp King's College Old Aberdeen Scottish University Crown spire tower creeper summer is the centrepiece of the University and is situated to the northern part of the modern city. Part of the City of Aberdeen, this northern area around the University was also a separate burgh and the focus for the oldest part of the city and especially its links with the University and the religious centre with St Machar's Cathedral Kirk nearby. This photograph was taken in 2002 the last year I used slide film, either 35mm or 645 as my main medium for landscape photography. They are still representative of the City despite their age and is chosen because of the lovely light and colours as it can still be on the right day although it has been more recently cleaned.
