Here looking westwards from the Learney road which climbs up northwards from Torphins to the crossroads and a main rural route to Alford and Inverurie via Millbank. Lochnagar is the distant very distinct outline of Britain’s fourth highest mountain overlooking Royal Deeside here viewed over spring gorse blossom taken in the late afternoon just above the point as it drops down from Ord Caber past the turning to Learney House.
