 Raemoir Scolty Hill barley bales Scottish winter Banchory field Aberdeenshire located west of Aberdeen in the North East of Scotland. Typical late autumn winter scene with bales after the barley is harvested looking across towards Scolty Hill with its distinctive tower south of Banchory. To the west of the Raemoir House Hotel on Dunecht Estate and a very popular hotel in the area as well as the starting place for hillwalking on the Hill of Fare with wonderful views across Deeside and Banchory to the south. This is adjacent to the Garlogie to Torphins road on the long straight road the B977 just after Hattonburn and before The Green.
